Enrolments

School Tours

Selecting the right school for your child is an important decision. We believe a tour is the best method to decide which school is right for your child. We conduct our school tours during the school day and encourage you to bring your child with you. This provides the perfect opportunity for you and your child to see the real school in operation and for you all to ask many questions as you walk through. Please contact Betty Symss, Enrolment Officer 9704 3333 to make a booking or check out the tour page to learn more.

Enrolment Process

Complete an 2018 Enrolment Enquiry form or alternatively collect an Enrolment Enquiry Form for 2018 or 2019 Enrolments from the General Office, return the form to the General Office including 2 copies of recent school reports for your child. An Enrolment Interview will be organised shortly after, this is an opportunity for parents and child to meet with the Principal to discuss placement and answer any questions. At the end of the interview you are advised if your child's application is successful. An Enrolment Pack will be provided for you to complete and return with supporting legal documentation (listed below). The College requires one full school day to complete the enrolment process before your child can commence their schooling.

Please note the Enrolment Office Hours are 8:30-10am and 2:00-4:30pm, with the Office being closed between 10:00am - 2:00pm

Year 7 Enrolments

During the month of April of your child's Year 6, your primary school will ask families to complete an "Application for Enrolment Form" for a secondary school placement. This process involves you nominating the secondary schools that you would like your child to attend and submitting the application via your child's primary school. When you nominate Narre Warren South P-12 as your child's first preference, your primary school will forward your application to us for consideration.

During late July, we formally write to the primary schools to notify them of the success of their student's applications. The primary school will then inform you of your child's application status and if successful, we will post home our Enrolment pack for you to complete and return to the College with the supporting legal documentaion as soon as possible.

Please return enrolment forms to the College as soon as possible.

Year 7 Transition program is held during Term 4, Year 7 information and book lists etc to ensure your child has a smooth start to Year 7 at Narre Warren South P-12 College.
