Soccer Academy 2024
Narre Warren South P-12 College will launch the Soccer Academy in 2024 for our Year 7, 8 and 9 students. The program is open to both boys and girls. We have partnered with Melbourne City Football Clubs (MCFC) charitable arm to deliver a high level Soccer Academy.
Application Process
Students will be required to fill out a google form application to be considered for the Soccer Academy. https://forms.gle/3ZofpBDcWuGzqyWx5
The application also requires a coach's/PE teacher reference
Applications Close Friday August 18th 2023.
Interested families are encouraged to attend the Launch/Info night on July the 11th at the colleges Performing Arts Centre
Practical Soccer Class Sessions
Members of the academy will participate in high level structured practical Soccer periods every week as part of the program.
Members will also have a special school Soccer uniform to wear during practicals branded with CiTC and NWSP-12 college branded by Puma
Theory Soccer Class Sessions
Members of the academy will complete exciting theory sessions relating to topics such as:
Nutrition
Fitness and Exercise prescription
Goal Setting and Healthy Habits
Sports Psychology
Leadership
Basic Soccer Coaching

Behind the scenes training at City – Attend training sessions at Casey fields
City Football Schools (CFS) Taster sessions – Sessions run by CFS coaches
Discount to City Football Schools – 10% off City Football Schools sessions
Matchday tickets – 10 GA to every Melbourne City A League Mens home match
Ball Boy/girls experience at A-League Men’s and Woman’s Matches
MCFC student mentoring – Opportunities to support MCFC staff in years 2 and 3
