Enrolments

Please complete the Enrolment Enquiry Form below or alternatively, collect an enrolment enquiry form from the General Office. Return the form with copies of the following documents:

  • Birth Certificate

  • Passport
  • Immunisation History

  • Proof of address (electricity bill, water bill, council rates)

  • Visa application (if applicable)
  • Court orders (if applicable)
  • Medical documentation (if applicable)
  • Previous school reports

Once all documents have been received, an enrolment interview will be organised. This is an opportunity for parents and children to meet with the Assistant Principal of the relevant year level to discuss placement and answer any questions. Following the interview you will be contacted and advised of your child’s year level and start date.

Prep Enrolments & Transition Program

To start primary school your child must be five years of age by 30 April in the year they commence school. We accept Prep enrolments one year prior to your child’s start date. We encourage you to collect an Enrolment Pack early in the year to take home to complete and return with the supporting legal documentation as soon as possible.

All children enrolled at Narre Warren South P-12 College starting Prep are invited to register for our Step Into Prep program. Our sessions include classroom experiences with our prep teachers and parent information sessions with our Primary School Leaders. Our Step Into Prep program runs mid Term 4, dates for our Step Into Prep sessions will be advertised on our website and all parents will be notified by email.

Whether it is your first child off to school or one of many, our Step Into Prep program will assist your child to feel settled and confident to start Prep at Narre Warren South P-12 College. Contact our Enrolment Officer on 9704 3333 to assist in enrolling your child.

New Arrival Students & International Students

Students that are new arrivals to the country and are eligible to attend a Government funded school, MUST enrol and attend the Language School first. Link to the Language School provided below:

When students have completed their time at the Language School, Narre Warren South P-12 will be contacted, and the students will be transferred.
International Students with visa’s not eligible for Government Funding will need to apply for enrolment at their zoned school via The International Student Division. Website link below:

Enrolment Management Implementation Plan (EMIP)

The Department of Education (the department) supports schools to ensure every child is able to attend their local school.
Narre Warren South P-12 College is under an Enrolment Management Implementation Plan, which sets an enrolment restriction for 2024 and 2025 school year.
This is comprised of the entry criteria outlined below.

Enrolment Restrictions

Narre Warren South P-12 College under section 2.2.16 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic).
Approved entry criteria for Narre Warren South P-12 College for the 2024 and 2025 school year are:
• Students who live within the school zone (guaranteed entry)
• Students with a sibling attending the school at the same time (priority 1 of the priority order of
placement)
• Students seeking enrolment on compassionate grounds.
