Our Year 7 and 8 Soccer Academy students recently enjoyed an exciting day at the Melbourne City Soccer Academy. The excursion kicked off with a guided tour of the facilities, followed by on-pitch training sessions led by the Academy’s experienced coaches. The students also had the unique opportunity to watch the A-League Women’s training session. After training, Head Coach Michael Matricciani shared valuable insights on leadership, fostering respect within a team, and building healthy habits both on and off the field. A-League Women’s players Bryleeh Henry and Taylor Otto also inspired the group, sharing stories of their pathways into professional soccer and offering advice on managing stress, overcoming setbacks, and staying resilient during challenging times. It was a highly engaging and productive day that left our students motivated and full of inspiration!
