The College would like to congratulate Year 7 student Azzalea Basir on her recent success in representing Australia in Taekwondo.
Azzalea won Gold at the Australian Open defeating Hong Kong in the final. On top of this, in 2026 alone, Azzalea has received a variety gold and brown awards at a national level. At State selection in the ATV black belt selection, she won Gold and has been selected to fight in the National Championship in October in Canberra. We wish Azzalea all the success in her future competitions.
