Our Year 12 Biology students have been busy completing their final SAC experiment, putting their scientific skills into practice by designing and carrying out their own investigations.
Students explored the antibacterial properties of a range of everyday household items, testing how effective they were at preventing or killing bacterial growth. From planning their method and selecting variables to collecting results and analysing their findings, students were able to take ownership of the entire experimental process.
A great way to finish off their practical SAC work for the year and see biology come to life in the lab!
