Our year 12 formal was an incredible experience, filled with joy and excitement from start to finish. The venue, Malvern Town Hall, was beautifully decorated with purple lighting that set the perfect mood for the night. As soon as guests arrived, they were greeted with a warm welcome, and many people were amazed by the elegant look of the hall. The music was fantastic, thanks to DJ Raph, who kept the energy high and the crowd excited all night. He played a mix of popular hits and classic party favourites, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. The dance floor was never empty, as people were eager to join in the fun and dance together. Everyone looked amazing, the men in their sharp suits and ties, and the women who dazzled in beautiful dresses and heels. It was wonderful to see everyone getting along so well, creating a wonderful atmosphere that added to the magic of the night. Throughout the evening everyone was busy having their photos taken with their friends by professional photographers, capturing the special moments and creating lasting memories. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the awards ceremony, which everyone loved. Anticipation filled the air as people eagerly waited for the winners’ names to be revealed. When the moment finally arrived, the crowd erupted in cheers as Kishor Sutharsan was crowned Formal King and Brianna Leao was crowned Formal Queen. It was a truly memorable night for everyone involved.

Year 12 formal was held at the elegant venue of Malvern Town Hall, the halls illuminated with cool-toned lighting to match the theme of ‘Meet Me at Midnight’. The night included a 3-course dinner, featuring the finest entrees, mains, and desserts, gorgeous decorations to match the theme, an awards night hosted by the College Captains, and a dance floor brought alive with the skills of DJ Raph. Thanks to year 12 staff and students, the formal was brought to fruition and incredibly memorable.

Formal was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was just right, with an amazing vibe as all the students mingled and got along effortlessly. It was so lovely to see everyone dressed up, from the elegant dresses to the sharp suits. Having a night to dance and unwind with friends after the pressures of Year 12 was exactly what we needed. The venue was also beautifully decorated, with a warm, inviting feel that made the night even more special. Overall, I had a blast with my friends, and I’m so grateful to everyone who worked so hard to put it together. It was such a privilege to attend and be part of such a memorable night.

I found the experience enthralling with the beautiful decorations and lively atmosphere. I was excited to see students and teachers intermingling and taking a break from the stresses of Year 12 to just have fun and let loose. So many people had endeavoured to ensure the night was magical and one that we’d never forget and to that, I’d say we succeeded.
